When travelling with children or the elderly its always a good idea to take a basic first aid kit as chemists abroad can be confusing and you want to always be certain on what you are taking/administering. If you’re on prescription drugs take the prescription with you as well as the generic names to avoid any mix ups with customs & doctors abroad. You can buy travel first aid kits from chemists & medical centres but its easy to make your own, which can be easily adapted if travelling with children.
